SYDNEY RANGERS FC

Sydney Rangers Football Club is Australia’s first and Sydney’s only gay and inclusive men’s football club.

Founded in 1997, they are a community dedicated to building a competitive, social and diverse club which welcomes players of all sexual orientations and from all levels of playing experience. All six of our current squads compete in the Canterbury District Soccer Football Association (CDSFA), and in various domestic and international competitions each year.

The mission of the Rangers is to instill pride and achieve success on and off the football field by playing fun and inclusive soccer, and to make a positive social contribution in the LGBTQ+ community.

Working with Sydney Rangers FC on a pro bono basis, I was responsible for the;

• Onboarding of 5 new sponsors including Absolut and Heaps Normal, which brought in over double the sponsorship revenue, reaching a record high for the club to reinvest back into the club

• Rebranding the club, refreshing their identity and emblem through an extensive and inclusive process with the community

• Successfully winning Government Grants to fund the clubs growth and events program.

• Increase in social media followers by 40%, and engagement by 65% through more frequent, impactful and well designed assets and social events.

• Lead on all Matchday Photography

• Lead on Kit Designs (Playing Jersey, Pre Match Top & Training Apparel)
